Send files via bluetooth

Missing bluetooth icon on taskbar.

And unable to send bluetooth files using your laptop or desktop.

To open bluetooth via taskbar:


This will work provided the PC and the other device has already been paired and configure with the authentication settings to talk to each other.

Well, quick and easy way is to use the command line executable file.

Press Win Key + R, to open the run box.

On the run box, type "fsquirt" without quotes and press enter.



Or go to search box and type "fsquirt" without quotes and press enter.



After pressing enter bluetooth transfer file window will open.


Click on "Send Files" to transfer files on the computer to other bluetooth device.

If there's a bluetooth device already configured and paired with the computer, you need to select which bluetooth device you want to send the files.


Upon selecting which device to transfer the files. The browse window will open and select the files you want to send.



Once finish selecting the files, the next button will be "enabled". Click on next to proceed to send the files.

The other bluetooth device should receive a notification whether to accept or reject the incoming bluetooth connection.

If the other device confirm the incoming connection, then the sending of files will begin.

And the window below will pop up with progress bar to indicate the status of the transfer.


Once the transfer is complete a notification window will be shown that the transfer was successful.



If above procedures does not work, there could be some issues on the blutooth hardware. The bluetooth versions might cause the bluetooth transfer to fail.

    You can't connect your wireless peripherals when Bluetooth isn't functioning in Windows 10. You may wish to reinstall the device and pair it once more if that just occurs on one particular device. Another good approach is to update your Bluetooth driver; you can choose to have it happen automatically.

WMIC is a command-line tool and that can generate information about computer model, its manufacturer, its username and other informations depending on the parameters provided. The are quite a few ways to check office version it can be done via registry, PowerShell or VBScript and of course, good old command line can also do it. Checking Windows office version whether it is Office 2010, Office, 2013, Office 2016 or other version is quite important to check compatibility of documents; or just a part of software inventory.
